So, I'm getting off my butt and volunteering for a candidate running for Congress in my district. We need to elect democrats for ALL offices. I haven't done campaign work since 08. It will be good to be useful, especially in light of the horrid situation with republicans.

I disagree...just being a member of a political organization doesn't make one qualified for the office, nor the best candidate. I do applaud you though for getting involved, and hope that you keep it up. Please stay involved and continue to hold the elected official accountable throughout the term, not just voting them in and then trusting them to do the right thing.

Excellent. PA just redistricted and we should have more Dems in a state with a million more Dems and still more republicans in Congress. I'm pushing to get Sen Casey re-elected. My new district is more Republican but the part they chopped off and moved should insure a dem wins. Also, our Gov Wolf who is great. As a business man, prior to politics he built a cabinet making and installation company. Sold it. Buyers renigged and shut down the building of cabinets and bought them from China. After 5 years, legal wait, Wolf rebought the company and got 80% of his workforce to rejoin. And all made in the USA. Trump can't claim that, nor Ivanka.
