Hey there everyone is this site like other sites where no one ever talks to you I'm a big Beatles fan John lennon was fantastic
The Beatles were great! That the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones eventually ended up getting more of my attention takes away nothing from the Beatles.
Sitting here on Aigburth rd, halfway between Ringos and Stuart Sutcliffs old houses. The magical mystery tour bus goes past several times a day. So heres a family story.
My nephew is married to a wonderful singer and actress. She splits her work between acting roles and teaching in LIPA (the Liverpool institute for performing arts). When Macca (Paul) came to open the collage, she was asked to sing "Blackbird" for him. A daunting task as you can imagine. By all accounts this was a hair on the back of your neck performance by all who heard it. Sometime later she was called into the principles office. She feared something she had done wrong but no. Linda had not long died and Paul asked specifically for her to come sing at the memorial service. Of course she said yes and soon after there she was at st Martin in the field before the altar for the whole ceremony. Singing not only "Blackbird" but parts of his oratorio too. In the audience/congregation was Mick, Kieth, Elton John and you name it. So proud of her
PS this is her taking the solo
I am sure that Performing to a god... gets you closer to heaven!!!
They were the thing but I was never a fan... I liked musicians that were radical on stage like 5 minutes drums solos or burning guitars. Ginger Baker, Jimi Hendrix, those kind of guys. Alfa Musicians. But hey, it is your life... and if the "Nowhere Man" was the man for you... John L was the man for you. He did his own thing.
Hi, Paul, and welcome to the website!
Yup, John Lennon was the best!
By the way, this website has a bit of a learning curve.
For members who are open to dating, certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible others are with them.
You can improve your website score in general by uploading a recent, clear photo of your face, answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns website points, and helps other members get to know you.
Commenting on posts and writing your own posts earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.
If you want to date, the website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.
Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find others with similar interests..
