Okay, who buys lottery tickets?
I just heard that the MegaMillions jackpot is up to
$152 Million.
I will occasionally buy a couple when the jackpot gets
up there. I know some people always like to say that the odds are astronomical. I have a couple of feelings about that.
Well think about what you do when you play only when it gets "up there" What is your max number? $152 Million? Because $5 Million isn't enough? I ask because I do what you do but it doesnt make any sense if you think about it. I agree you can't win if you don't play but to only play if its $100 Million seems a bit odd when $50 Million would probably do the trick
I bought some many decades ago, hit big, and have no need to play any longer
Good of you not be a greedy bastard. I get so aggravated when I hear about previous lottery winners hitting another jackpot. Like, WTF???
You can't let someone else have a shot, ya bastard???
Same, I only play when it's stupid ridiculous amount, or on that random occasion where I'm not firing on all cylinders. LOL
Oh how I'd be the biggest PITA you ever saw with millions, and I'd be one of those that dresses like a bum most of the time too. LOL
I'd probably still walk around in shorts and t-shirts, just like I do now.
@KKGator let me fantasize outloud here.
I'd buy billboards and put inflammatory thought provoking shit on them all day long.
I'd back outlier doberman pedigrees(long lived, old school "straight in front" dogs) for shits & giggles and piss off the ribbon breeders. LOL
(in other words I'd bring sexy back)
And I'd dress like a fucking bum doing it, and clean up when I felt like it to freak people out.
I only play when the jackpot rises above the true odds of winning.
For those who are unfamiliar with probability and gambling terms... "true odds" means tht if the chances of winning are a million to one, then you would only spend a dollar, if the jackpot was more than a million dollars, so that your "reward" (jackpot) matches the risk you are actually taking.
Meh.
Like I said, never tell me the odds.
My parents won ten grand many years ago. They played quite often. I never do.
Lotteries are taxes for being stupid.
My dad always sais that.
@BlueWave your dad sounds like a wise man
I play at work if everyone is playing. What if we one and I was not in the game?
I try to get rid of the "bad luck" by playing with imaginary money with an on-line simulator (example linked below). With all the losses I had there, I have to win on the next draw right?
That's hilarious!!! YET another reason why I avoid Vegas!!! I suck at gambling. LOL
