It goes against every bit of the New Yorker in me and offends me sensibilities. I hate that itβs so fooking delicious lol
Best Hawaiian pizza I have ever had was at Old Chicago in Portland (OR). Evidently they are a chain though. I just ate at what I believe in the furthest North location.
Anyway, They do the Canadian bacon and pineapple, but also put in red onions and red bell pwppwe, and the sauce is a sweet Thai chili marinara. It's a unique taste combination.
They sent me an email telling me tht with my Old Chicago rewards card, I'll get $17 off a pizza for my virthday, good for a span of two weeks. Yay! We are going next Tuesday.

Hey, Mary - the yawn is my thing!
Best pizza I ever had was from a little hole-in-the-wall Italian dive only a mile from my house when I lived in Davenport, FL. The place was called Mannino's and it was located behind a 7-11 on Rt 27.
Ot was tiny, kinda dirty, and the pizza was sublime.
