I feel your pain. I will be unemployed after next Friday. I've cried and obsessed enough, time for a fresh start!
@HippieChick58 Embrace the change HippyChick. So many times in my business I have thought this last change would bring gloom or possibly the end and it ended up better. Employers are desperate for employees now. You'll find a better position I'm sure of it!
@HippieChick58 My wife was told she has cancer. We are waiting for lab reports to find out what type and how to treat it.
@Marine I am so sorry!! What a scary diagnosis. I know this is hard for both of you. Medical science has made great strides in cancer treatment, I hope it is quickly curable. At times like this I wish I could fall back on hopeful religious platitudes, it would be so much easier. Know that you have a community here that loves you, please feel free to bring your concerns, anxieties, and fears to us, as much as possible we will help you bear them. You are not alone in this struggle Please let your wife know she has friends she hasn't met yet that care.

September, for me, has always felt like the beginning of the year. We started school in September, so my Mom always took me shopping for clothes and supplies. And my birthday is in September, so of course I felt like the world began anew in the Fall. And Fall is my favorite season, too. I've always loved cooler weather.
