Does a disbelief in a god mean a disbelief in good and evil spirits? Both Bhuddism and Daosim does not believe in a god or gods but both do believe in good and evil spirits.

What difference does it make? Unless the spirits send me the winning Powerball numbers, f*ck 'em!

I personally do not disbelieve in a god. i disbelieve in all gods. that goes for the tooth fairy too, santa claus, unicorns, ghosts, spirits, odin, zeus and trolls (except internet trolls). but that's just me. i can't vouch for buddhists or taoists.

It doesn't, but if your atheism is based on the lack of evidence; it would be ridiculous to believe in other supernatural myths.

The supernatural attributes of Buddhism were tacked on after the (original) Buddha died. Pure Buddhism from what i understand is just philosophy and guidelines for living.

Yes.

I don't remember a reference to spirits in either one.
