The full text of the document is available in the federal archives: [pgj.cc] You will find these lines shortly after the appearance of footnote #46 in the annotated text.
The paragraph before is also good:
"The truth unquestionably is, that the only path to a subversion of the republican system of the Country is, by flattering the prejudices of the people, and exciting their jealousies and apprehensions, to throw affairs into confusion, and bring on civil commotion. Tired at length of anarchy, or want of government, they may take shelter in the arms of monarchy for repose and security."
Trump is creating the demand for his "only I can do it" claim ... blaming the traditions and conventions of our democratic republic for its ills, in the process paralyzing the republic, and at some point he will offer unquestioning fealty to himself as the only remedy.
That is unthinkable but it is coming -- mark my words and I will say "I told you so" when it arrives.
For dog's sake, VOTE this November, people! Prove me wrong! Please!
