Who do you believe, the neighbors who don't have any reason to lie said she was yelling open the door
Or do you believe her saying the door was ajar( the doors close automatically). There was something between them, maybe not romance but something....any thoughts

Don't believe the lies, the investigation is not being handled in a transparent way.

Well, whatever the case, her actions destroyed two lives: the victim, and hers.

Whether she killed him on purpose or by accident, her actions were unconscionable!

All I can say for sure is that cops are, as a group, dishonest. They are trained to lie to entice confessions and incriminate suspects. I would trust the neighbors over a cop.

Why bang on the door and yell out to open it if it was ajar? They had something going on and this is the result.

She is lying. Her own story changed She tells first responders how she put things down to get her keys out. Then later tells State Police that the door was ajar. The neighbors say they heard loud knocking on the door.

All that is missing is the back story and motive as to why she went there to shoot the guy.

@Boogey I was just going by what they reported on NPR. They didn't mention she yelling "open the door" but I would not be surprised with all the other inconsistencies.

@Boogey They didn't report it as her second shooting either. Probably becaue the police dept woudl nto confirm it. If true it will likely come out into the media eventually.

I still cant' believe th NRA said, that if he had a gun he'd still be alive. Like a black man with a gun, even in his own home would not likely be considered a justified shooting in Texas. And, it ws his neighbor, who was a cop, at the door... so he probably didn't feel threatened anyways.

This is her second shooting, I on duty, this one off duty. The blue wall is closing around her to protect one of their own. Based on only what she has said, she is guilty of manslaughter. Once you start taking into account all of the anecdotal evidence, she could be guilty of capitol murder. One more dirty cop being supported by all the other dirty cops.

@Boogey first one was Hispanic. She is quick to shoot, and probably never should have been on the police force.

I couldn't begin. It's very sad.

Me too.

She murdered him

The investigation is being handled by the Texas Rangers right now. The sheriff in Dallas county only has jurisdiction in cases in the unincorporated areas of Dallas County and the county jail, so has no input in this case. I don't trust the angers anymore than I trust the Dallas PD, but they don't have a dog in this hunt, unlike Dallas PD. The one thing that will ensure justice in this case is continuing public scrutiny. She still has not been indicted and the case has not been presented to a grand jury. Our current DA was appointed by a very republican governor. She was perhaps the most incompetent judge in Dallas if not the state before being turned out to pasture. She is a Clarence Thomas republican, black, incompetent, but presents well.

Yeah..seems like more white supremacist crap.

@Boogey Aren't they all?
