@DeeTee This time round only 5 months. But last time (2011-2015) just a fews short of 5 years.

@DeeTee many incredible changes as most people here are very docile and offer very little resistence.

• In the City of GuangZhou (Canton City) all the Metro (subway) Station have in stalled x-ray machines for the luggage
• Many vehicles, including buses and trucks, are battery powered.
• facial recognition and 4 finger print control at the border and when catching a high speed train.
• more internet restrictions.
• financial restrictions: limited cash withdrawals
  The list is long.
  But one point, which i almost forgot to mention , is the ofo phenomenon.China caught the app virus which developed into a seriius disease. When it was applied to combine with bicycle hire without docking Station it turned more virulent and affects all urban areas where bicycles get dumped.
  I didn't authorise any of the changes and disagree with most. I do, however, endorse the supply of toilet paper. Note of caution: don't get too complaisant.
