I think that this nightmare called Trump may indeed continue through 2020. Democrats and their supporters are naive if they don't see this. Yes, there will be a huge blue wave in 2018 ... not enough probably to retake the senate but the house will go blue. This will remain true through 2020 but Trump stands a big chance of re-election and our country will remain divided and become more so.

By the end of his nightmare administration the truth will be showing through and some very very bad results will unfold. Most people won't realize how or why it has happened.

We have not learned our lesson and will not until we reject the facilitators and apologists. Vote them out now and work to vote out Trump in 2020 but don't be naive about the reality of this dangerous situation.

I doubt he will be elected to a second term. There is still a chance he may not make it through this term; although, impeachment seems unlikely.
