But seriously, they look a little rutabaga or turnip'y.
Is the flesh white or gold?
@PolyWolf the inside is green and white, too? It could be jicama. Jicama would be bright white inside and earthy, but not overly sweet. Rutabaga would be gold inside and more sweet than earthy. Turnip would be off white and taste kind of like a bland carrot. My money is on jicama because of the greenish hue, and lack of distinct top coloring.
From whence did these old man balls come?
