Any diabetics here? Have you lowered your A1C lately without the use of one of the highly advertised drugs? From - to?
Interval traing will drop your numbers like a stone...even 10 minutes twice a day. Or, eat strict Atkins, same effect.
i don't know my aic because i have ptsd and cannot bring myself to let someone draw my blood. it's not JUST the ptsd either; my veins are small, and they roll. even experienced phlebotomists have trouble getting any blood from me, and if they manage, it just coagulated in the medium before the lab can do a thing with it. so that i don't know. i do test my blood glucose at home (not the same thing, i know) and have it down from almost 600 when i was first diagnosed to anywhere between 99 and 180 (if i've been careless). it's usually around 135. i use metformin and that's it, and i've never seen as ad for it. my glucose is better when i am careful about food AND exercise, but exercise is hard for me with fibromyalgia (and at the moment a weeks-long-and-counting bacterial illness). i do my best.
