#vote #Millennials Vote like your lives depended on it.
Millennials Need to Start Voting Before the Gerontocracy Kills Us All
Already did, and I have voted in the past 4 elections (counting congressional elections as well). That being said a lot more people of older generations vote than people of my age. In my opinion we need to get rid of the electoral college and go by a popular vote.
i hate this. there is no gerontocracy. that's ageism. the idiots in congress are not evil because they're old (there are good old and young ones in there too, and evil old and young ones). they're evil because they're evil. i'm 66 and a half and have never voted republican in my life. yes millennials need to vote. so do we all. it's important to encourage millennials not because we old folks are so awful but because so many millennials will not vote without encouragement.

@Dave75 i don't blame them at all for wanting change. (i sure want change!) they could vote, you know.... and they could run for office, and then they'd have more choices, agewise and otherwise. being ageist themselves is not the way to combat ageism against them. it's not old vs. young. it's good vs. bad. i want mitch mcconnell out of office, preferably doing hard labor. i don't feel that way because he's old. he was surely an asshole when he was young too. people don't become assholes on a certain birthday!.

Oh they'll vote and vote blue..IF and only IF they have a choice in people that They actually Believe are the best for Their needs. Who can blame them, the Dems are floating who? Biden? Warren? Kerry?..Seriously? Hell I love all 3..even I wouldn't vote for them for president.
oh, did you forget november? no one you mentioned is running right now. if we don't flip congress and the red states blue, there won't BE a 2020 to speak of.

“IF and only IF they have a choice...” - And that’s where their country will have went! Not to the ‘the purists,’ not voting because someone once cast a vote they didn’t agree with … but to the lock-step filthy republicans - militaristically voting strategically in order to win ‘their war,’ not to remain ‘Pure’ ..as vividly exemplified by their current brain-damaged immoral leader … in the process of wrecking this nation..
@Charlene You mean who’d the Repub’s force down our throats..? You’re overlooking the fact we’ve a binary system, yet blaming the one out of power...
The problem I see is Purest Dems demanding of ourselves what we can’t of our true opponents. Should Ruth Bader-Ginsburg retire..? Should Senator Al Franken have resigned.? Or, should we work within the party most closely related to our views - or run ourselves, then support the candidate of that party when they go up against true evil?
@Charlene schumer isn't bad. pelosi is great. and clinton wasn't forced down our throats. i voted for her because i like her... a LOT. you want someone else? vote in the primaries, or run for office. but the truth is, not voting dem means electing republicans, or at least installing them (we ELECTED clinton).

@genessa well you know what she lost..And I Voted in the Primary.. For Bernie Sanders..I held my nose and Voted for Clinton cause I always vote Democratic..ALWAYS..
Schumer is Spineless..and Pelosi is Not the face of the future of the Democratic Party..she needs to step down from her leadership role..
