Walk into a shop and the have a mixture of Halloween and Christmas stuff all over the place, so it feels like you're in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The Xmess Drift is getting so bad that I saw Christmas related items being flogged on one of the few over-the-air channels I get on tv back in Septermber. Reminds me of...

I just read a good article about the amount of perfectly edible food that is wasted with halloween pumpkins. It was essentially asking people to at least eat the bits they cut out. Also, not to throw them away after the event - they make good food for birds and other creatures.

The squirrels already know about my sisters pumpkins! They are halfway gone, lol.
Yes..our zoo is given hundreds of pumpkins which are used for ''enrichment.'' You should see the animals rolling them around, stomping on them and then enjoying them. Fun to see!
