So if you paint your face in blue, as in a Smurf, thats ok. Red, yellow, brown, all ok? but if its a little too dark brown then you're a racist? Is that right? Is that how it works?

A friend loves LeBron James - arguably the greatest Basketball player ever - he has the jersey, even a fake beard, but if he darkens his skin he become a racist? Even though LeBron is his hero?

Is it ok for Black people to mock white people in white face .Nick Cannon, Snoop Dogg ,Dwayne Wade in whiteface for Halloween, etc

Any one that does not thinking mocking white and black are the same is in denial .

This is a recurrent theme on your part. You refuse to evolve. At some point you have to realize it’s not the 50’s and thankfully we will never be back there again. My parents and grandparents had no problems progressing to today’s societal expectations. You should look to your countries dark past and learn from it.

That's almost how it works, sure. Of course it's fine to paint yourself blue, what with Smurfs not actually existing and all. If you go red, yellow, brown, black in an attempt to emulate/parody/stereotype a specific ethnic group, then yeah, pretty goddamned racist. But you knew that already, didn't you?

So it really has nothing to do with the color of the paint does it?

What about the Washington Redskins or Cleveland Indians?

@gater I feel you're being facetious. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though. Maybe it's better to consult an actual Native American on the subject.

You are correct . Its ridiculous because this was just about a Halloween portrayol. As long as no one is being mocked . What about actors Portraying people of color and darkening their face :Angelina Jolie As Mariene Pearl ,Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson,Juliet Binoche as Maria Segovia,The main cast of the last Airbender,There are many more .There is a difference between mocking someone and portrayal of a character

Seems that way.
