Nothing..... Every piece of knowledge has been a contributor to learn the next step and that's what have gotten us to what we are/know today, even the pieces we may see as disproven today.

Yes, several come to mind.

1. Meat, eggs, milk, cheese, etc. are good for health.
2. The Universe is expanding, but gravity is slowing down the rate of expansion.
3. Cells are a sack of protoplasm.
4. Only Saturn has rings.
5. The first men came to the Americas via a northern land bridge.
6. The first men in the Americas were of Asian descent
7. Neanderthals are totally extinct.
8. Pluto is a planet.
9. Asteroids are between Mars and Jupiter.

Not many. I’d give my US public school education a solid B. The problem was what they omitted … but that wasn’t the schools fault, it was our political culture.. Sure made for some amazing lectures in college US History though
