You should not generalize. There are men who are exhibitionists also. There are women who are voyeurs; not just men. And, there are those of each gender that exhibit both traits to varying degrees. And, men and women who have neither trait.

I disagree. Not everyone is obsessed with sex or thinking about it all the time.

Also, voyeurism and exhibitionism both have by definition components of sexual satisfaction to them. I for one can look at a naked person, male or female, and just admire their beauty alone without ever considering sex, and I am aware of many others who can do the same thing.

To put people into such narrow categories is to deny the diversity inherent in humanity and human nature.

I’ve always heard it said that men are triggered by visual stimulus more than women, but find that hard to believe. With sisters, then daughters, the exhibitionism among females seems accurate. Though, watching guys batter their bodies in sports attempting, if instinctively, to show their physical prowess to females seems the equivalent of ‘gals’ wearing clothes they appear to have been dipped into..

I suspect both sexes have equal urges with similar traits and tactics of attraction.
