10+10+10=30
5+5+10=20
4+4+5=13
(10/2)+(5+4+10)x(4/2) = 5+19x2 = 5+38 = 43
I don't think this pictogram is particularly valid though, so I'd also accept unsolvable.
Think twice has this.
So do others that I knew would...we are a consistent bunch of observational nerds...ha ha ha
15...er...nope, 43
half a shoe = 5
little dude=5
half a cone thing=2
order of operations
5+5x2....multiply first, so 5x2=10...add the 5 = 15
but...did anyone notice that the little dude had on a pair of pink sneakers and is carrying two coney things? That would make him a 19...19x2=38, +5= 43....ha ha ha
@clarkems Details, darling...details...they are important...
good catch.
I wonder if the little items are worth 10% or so.
@clarkems Most of them are not true math tests at all...the math is the easiest thing about it...many here can do math easily (we are a smart group of people)...you are correct...it is seeing outside the box...paying attention to details and nuances...to me, that is exceptional
@Agamic Yes, the little dude in the last formula is 19...we agree on that...
@thinktwice Doh! I did not see the dude had the sneakers and the cones in the last row....
@LizBeth I missed it first round as well...I have learned to slow down a bit and take it all in first, then respond...maybe that is the lesson to be learned from this...think twice! ha ha aha hahha
@thinktwice Think thrice! That's what it took me.
Tricky. 5+ (5+5+5+2+2) x 2= 43
I second that
As I recall, you also zoned in on the last one he posted....we would have fun doing puzzles together...

Hello how are you doing today??
