It is in the silly and random fun category and that's how I take it. Humans are losing their minds over the dumbest stuff.

I would add, "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas." That's just chalked full of innuendo.

Who needs Christmas music? What's it all about? When I was a kid it was the music of the 1940's. It was OK in my childhood. Real Christmas music is still the music of the 1940's. Why do we need to hear this anymore? Who cares? It is not 1940.

I really pissed a woman off with all of this stuff earlier today. Even after I told her she could listen to what she wanted to and do what she wanted to, she was still pissed off.

Well If they really want to be offended by Christmas music there’s a guy John Valby from Rochester NY that use to do piano bar shows especially around Christmas time every year mainly in Long Island.

and I’d love to the faces of some of these people who are so damn easily offended once he’d open up with jingle balls and then transition to Santa’s whore is coming to town.
I’m pretty fucking positive that if that wouldn’t send them crying to a safe place that once he got the twelve days of Christmas where the women use to line up to participate in several burst of partial nudity they’d have ptsd.

I went to my first show in 93 and went 12 more times after that and my buddy who turned me on to this guys show had been to at least 10 before then and in none of those shows was anyone raped I think twice maybe there was a fight but there was also at least a gallon of spilt beer on the floors so that shit happens.

And I don’t know whether people have just forgotten how to act or that these last two generations are so absent of reality that when they’re confronted with it that they just can’t simply handle it or whether it’s that almost all of their information and ideologies aren’t being filtered as they’re being pumped in by the school system and social media.

But nonetheless they’re just songs and if this behavior is allowed to continue then we will see music, art, literature and even tv shows be eliminated and outlawed. Seriously I’m glad that most of these morons haven’t seen happy days because they’d socially crucify Henry Winkler who is absolutely one of the nicest and gentlest people you’d ever meet.
I’m seriously beginning to hate where our society is headed.

Using this line of reasoning there would barely be any songs of any kind left at all !

The time has probably come for the independent writing of songs, or perhaps art of any kind, to be replaced by people trained in the proper expression of values. It should be noted too that most of the popular Christmas songs were written by Jewish men. That probably explains why so many of us experience a cognitive dissonance between the music and the lyrics of these songs. Perhaps a return to the old business model of Tin Pan Alley, where writing was housed in a cluster of buildings that regulated its own corporate culture, might be used where a government agency might be adjoined to the building and used as a control/feedback station before unhealthy ideas are released to the public.

1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are all legitimate critiques. Christmas music is offensive to anyone with ears. Ban it all.
