On the subject of blocking. I have neither the time or crayons to explain rational thought to idiots. I could care less whether someone admires me for "reaching across the aisle". Never ceases to amaze me that so many people expect complete strangers to give a shit about their opinions and feel they have some "right" to be heard by private citizens. I block every idiot I come across and will continue to do so. There is nothing to be gained by arguing with those who cannot or will not educate themselves. If you have a problem with that feel free to submit a complaint to the "stuff I am tired of hearing about and will never care about in a million years" department.

I have blocked 94 people. 94 out of some 50,000 members seems reasonable. For most of us, I will bet IRL, out of 50,000 people, you probably wouldn't like 49,000 of them, maybe more. It also cuts down on useless alerts l have to wade through.
