The “War on Christmas” Revisited.

We already ‘know’ that “The Donald” has ended the (nonexistent) “War on Christmas”. But that so-called nonexistent “War” has had a long history as the following headlines from “Right Wing Watch” website stories show.

When it comes to the so-called (and phony) “War on Christmas”, never have so many right-wing Christian loony tunes ranted and raved for so long about so little. Now what – albeit usually unstated – the extreme religious right-wingers really mean by the “War on Christmas” is the “War on Christ in Christmas”. They don’t really tend to care that much about the commercialization unless retail firms wish customers “Happy Holidays”. So NOT saying “Merry Christmas” but instead “Happy Holidays” is apparently akin – according to right-wing Christians – to saying in a manner of speaking that there is no Christ in Christmas. Anyway, I’m not aware of any Christian church that’s been targeted or banned from celebrating their version of “Christ in Christmas”, so the alleged “War on Christmas” is all phony, it’s Phony, and it’s PHONY!
