I don't agree with Scott Adams on a lot of things but he has the "team player" thing nailed in his Dilbert comic. In it, whenever a character has a divergent opinion, some other character will often say, "I label you not a team player". And that's kind of how it works in business.

I share George Carlin's expression of dislike of "ass-kissers, flag wavers or team players", and his like of "independence, individuality, and integrity", clearly none of this makes any sense without Others, people we love, and trust, like George.
