We tried to jump the doberman fence by applying to foster one but my boy fell out of the sky before we took the leap. I'd have to have an aberrant mellow one, and while I've met those they're the exception. Too much dog, but I sure do admire them.

@Qualia Oh for sure. If I've learned anything all these years of working with dogs, it's that every individual dog is different no matter the breed or mix. In general, Mals need to work, and work in certain fields only. I'm sure there are some that make great family pets. They are beautiful dogs. I just don't think they would be right for me.
