As Trump pushes the US back to the dark ages, the Olympics have made "some" progress. One female sprinter, with a differing genetic "defect" showing her more male has been allowed to continue to compete.

Side note for trivia night: only person since testing was first done, first by sight and hormones, by the Olympic committee to be exempt from the test

  • Princess Margaret. Equestrian.

Beowulf I don't think Princess Margaret ever competed in the olympics. Could you possibly be confusing her with Princess Anne?

I don't know if you meant "Princess Margaret. Equestrian" to be facetious, but it was Princess Ann I believe who was the Equestrian...but she was not allowed to compete in the olympics due to royal protocol. I had a crush on Princess Ann back in her Equestrian days...yes, I am that old.

This is puzzling to me. If it makes sense to have separate competitions based on gender, then how do you assign gender roles for those who don’t fit into the binary pattern?

@dahermit my mistake it was Ann. My mind does forgetful fact checks sometimes. My bad. Thanks. I accept criticism.

@Beowulfsfriend I was disappointed when the queen (presumably), did not let Ann compete in the Olympics...she was really that good. I did not see Olympic competition as an unseemly thing to do inasmuch as Ann HAD competed in lower level (and won), Equestrian events...I would have been pleased if she had competed and actually won a medal. Relative to the original post, I found Ann to be quite sexually attractive.
