Hey, enjoy it. I'm doing the same thing. I just got my own place for the first time in my life. I've always lived with a wife, girlfriend or roommate. It's such a freeing feeling to be by yourself, ( not alone). I feel that "alone", implicates that you don't have a choice in the matter. I chose to spend the day by myself.

That's the spirit! Think I will go out for a run, too.
I have been alone to most christmasses for the past 30 years. Haven’t minded being alone at all. This year my daughter’s sharing space with me. That’s good too. Just the two of us. Looking forward to food we didn’t have at thanksgiving. Enjoy doing what you want to do on this lovely day.
This is my 2nd Christmas post-divorce and my first one alone. I’m actually really excited! I rented 4 movies and am going to have a pajama day! I think I would have been devastated to be alone on Christmas last year but I’m so psyched this year I even set my alarm so I wouldn’t sleep in too late, lol
I'll be watching TWD season 9 later today.
@Erick67 I rented The Jerk, Princess Bride, Table 19, and Whiplash
You are not alone, you are by yourself. The distinction is important.
Got it.
