The swine flu this year is deadly. The best quick preventative defense is vitamin D, lots of it. N-Acetyl-Cysteine may also help.
Once you get sick, the medical profession might save a lot of lives with massive doses of intravenous vitamin C (published in 1949 by Dr Fred Klenner), but they are too stubborn and stupid to do that. They'd rather let you die than try a non-pharmaceutical drug. One lucky New Zealand farmer was saved from death in 2010 when his family was even more stubborn than the stupid doctors:
