That population explosion would secure social security for generations to come. If anyone really wants to make sure the brown people stop coming all they have to do is make sure anyone that hires an illegal is punished both financially and criminally. They come for the jobs, if the jobs are not available they will stop coming.
How about the sanctuary cities or states? If they make it to one of them they are safe from ICE.
I resent your "the brown people" remark....since as long as a person enters USA legally the rest doesn't matter.
You are actually saying you're in favor of a Ponzi scheme that is totally unsustainable, and the fact that you use the phrase ''brown people'' is about as racist as you can get. Immigrants come from every country and are of all colors and races.. You and your anti Trump buddies are the reason Conservatives are correct in saying Liberals are by far the more racist of the two groups..
@Lorajay Well, besides being the longest, uninterrupted border on the world....I could say that US Citizens are not afraid of Canadians. Now, having said that, USA should be aware that a flight from Mexico to Canada only costs about $500.00 and that the Mexicans don't need visa to enter Canada.
The population explosion would do a hell of a lot more harm than good but I guess if your already pretty old like yourself you would probably not see the bad results.
America is an ideal position. It has an ally(at least for now) to the north and another major trading partner to the south. It is protected on both sides by oceans. These are the same reasons that protected America in WWII, So which borders are you referring to?
The southern border of course.
@Trajan61 there’s no invasion. Your meme makes no sense. Are you anticipating Russia or China coming up through Mexico?
@Green_eyes If we don’t control immigration along the southern we’re going to have a huge population explosion and severe depletion of resources here in the US.
@Green_eyes I’m anticipating a horde of imigrants from Central America and Mexico.
@Trajan61 I believe we should target the employers of illegals. America is one of the root causes of the mess in these countries.. everything from drugs to weapons. We are all immigrants to this country, some more recent than others. I get a pass because I’m an educated white woman. You need to look at the bigger issue and it’s not the border, you do not live in a border state, I do. The problem is the people overstaying thier Visas, not women and children applying for amnesty.. which they are legally allowed to do.
@Green_eyes It won’t do any good to target the employers as long as we have sanctuary cities and states.
@Trajan61 your understanding of the role of safe or Sanctuary cities in immigration is far from accurate. States that choose to refuse cooperation with Federal immigration laws are only refusing cooperation with those that Target the illegal immigrants themselves they have never addressed the laws that Target employers.
If you bothered to read about it, you'd learn that the issue isn't about protecting our borders. It's about whether to pay for Trump's $70B+ dumbass vanity project as opposed to providing real border security. Even so, the Dems were ready to cave on it if Trump would show a little sense and support the DACA kids.
Trump has already offered a deal for the Daca kids and the idiotic democrats turned it down.
@Trajan61 I haven't read his latest tweets but did do a search and found no reference to Trump offering a DACA agreement in exchange for some idiotic wall funding. Show your source for this, other than Fox Pretend News.
I did find this though:

"Trump: The Dreamers Are My Hostages – But the Wall Is Not My Ransom"
Your premise is faulty. We have troops stationed around the world to protect American business interests, not foreign borders. Virtually all military actions over seas are to protect American interests and the foreign resources American businesses are exploiting around the world,.
Typical and expected left wing liberal response! @bigpawbullets
@Trajan61 I just called it as it is. I'd like to think that we are there to secure borders, and in a very few cases that is true (like Korea), but in most cases we are only there to protect corporate interests in exploiting that country's resources.
I really sincerely doubt we (the U.S.) would be so interested or concerned about Israel if it wasn't positioned so well near all the oil fields of the Middle East. We wont' leave Afghanistan as long as we need to protect the oil pipeline to the Caspian Sea, and we wont' leave iraq because teh oil production is now under control of American and British oil campaniles. Then there is Cetnral and South America and the interests of the Untied Fruit company. The greater military presence was not all for a drug war, but to protect corporate interests of cheap food to import to the U.S. That isnt' even talking about the oil found there.
@Trajan61 Well, there are a hell of a lot of Middle Easterners who think we are stealing resources from their countries, not protecting them. And, we are fighting wars to do so.
For what we spent of the two wars just in Afghanistan and Iraq, we could have put solar panels on every home in the U.S., and buiotl about half the infrastructure to support alternative fuel vehicles. That is just those two wars alone.
Using the military for maintaining corporate profits is a very wasteful use of resources We'd have done better to invest the money here at home within out own borders.
@snytiger6 It would have cost a huge fortune to do what you just suggested and I doubt those numbers add up at all. I have no problem withdrawing out military from Syria and Afghanistan. We do need to maintain some presence in Iraq to prevent Iran from taking over in the vacuum we created when we took out Sadam and also to prevent Isis from making a come back. It’s makes a hell of a lot more sense to invest in railroad transit and mass transit in big cities than to try to make everything run on electricity.
@Trajan61 I definitely wish we had let the Russians have it. It would have saved us billions of dollars and thousands of American lives. When we leave, it will be almost exactly the same place it was before we came. With the exception of the fact that it has created a lot more people hating America.
