If politicians want to declare war on other nation, how about sending them to the front to lead, just like in the old days, when Kings and Generals did?

The only thing wrong with that idea is that the Kings and Generals were well guarded and protected whilst the rest of their armies slaughtered each other.
No, IF any Leader, King, etc, etc, wants to go to war then bring in the very old Leader versus Leader rule and the winner takes all, No designated Champion/s, just the Leaders in a One on One battle to the death.

Not always the case....if we go back in history, Kings did lead their armies and were often killed in battle. 1066 when Harold was killed and William became king and changed British history is one case, and later Richard 111 was killed in battle in 1485 and thus ended the Wars of the Roses and Henry V11 started the Tudor dynasty. I would love to see today’s Politicians do hand to hand combat....Trump v Putin would be something!
@Marionville Not sure. I think that Trump ver. Putin would be over in about two seconds. Would love to see what odds the bookies tried to give though.

@Marionville Yes, that might be so BUT very few rulers in history ACTUALLY fought side by side with their armies and even then they were very heavily guarded as well.
