Although i am a social animal, i suffer from SAD and at present, i struggle to communicate. I have a lot to say, please be patient.
Hello and thank you. The SAD was finally kicked into touch when my local team, Arsenal beat Manchester United.....Sometimes thats all it takes......Or a piece of music from Rachmaninov.......
Or a performance by Le Petomainne where he farts the Marsailliese. Anyway, i'm back and i'm ready to shake a few feathers. P.S. My grammer is sometimes eratic and my language sometimes blue. This is not because i am an ignaramous but because i come from the old school of "Pissed Authers", Joyce,Donlevy,Behan and the Great Flan O'Brian........And Spike Milligan.
I suffer from this. I control it by letting the sunlight in, vitamin D, music and comedy....and get outside and move in any way you can. All this helps me and maybe it will help you. I hope so. Nurture yourself through this.
You are not alone! Many people including me are effected by SAD. I have managed to keep it under wraps, in the last few years! I make sure I get as much sunlight as possible, especially in the morning! I excercise everyday and I do take a multivitamin-mineral supplement! When I was struggling, with the disorder, I took extra vit-D with C. You must exercise, that is the one thing, that I do believe kept my SAD under my control. Best of luck!
There are many people on this site with SAD... you are not alone.
I have it.
