Just pulled a 36hr er. NEVER again. I am 52 not 22. If I am actually dead and texting you guys from the afterlife, then I am in the bad place, I feel hungry but too bloody tired to eat, plus its STILL dry january and 5 million days from payday. If I ever say I am doing this again...slap me! Anyway how are you?
Poor you...get some much needed rest. I've worked a train load of overtime in my life but never 36 hours straight!
Girl...consider yourself slapped, in advance! You need to take care of yourself so that you can continue to take care of others. You can't save the whole world. ?
I did a 36 hour shift in retail years ago. I took like two 5 Hour Energy drinks and they did absolutely nothing. That was hard enough, but doing it in an ER? No thanks lol
I remember doing nine calls in 36 hours in the Cardiac Cath Lab. I was exhausted. Red Bull was my friend. I’m completely sympathetic to how your feeling, it’s a bit harder as we get older.. that’s for sure! Get some hydration and rest.
I did a 9 day rave once, only slept for about 5 hours on day four and if I was awake, I was dancing. I was in my late 30s
Yeah, I could still do it, with enough drugs
You may be dehydrated,it makes every other symptom worse
I'm trying to think of reasons I would stay up for 36 consecutive hours:
1.) The ability to wave my hand and change a conservative to a liberal.
2.) Jason Momoa in his baywatch outfit, gift-wrapped in a box and delivered to my door.
3.) A lifetime supply of outfits for the Shmoo to choose from.
4.) Level 10 status around here. Then I'd have the one ring to rule you all. Yeah.
