One morning I was taking my walk in the park. It was before the sun had come up. There are light posts throughout the park but it's hard to see. I walked across the small bridge that crosses the creek on the west side of the park. It's a narrow creek that you can step across with one step in a lot of places. I always look at the stream when I cross that bridge. I noticed movement near the stream. Seemed to be something crossing the creek. I moved off the bridge onto the bank of the creek and started counting things that were hopping up onto the opposite bank. I counted nine critters, that I couldn't identify. I hurried to get a better look. I finally identified the last animal in line. It was a raccoon. Didn't know they gathered in groups that large, much less walked in a line like that. Looked on Wikipedia and it said their litters are not that big. This photo here makes me think I wasn't imagining things. These weren't very big. I figured a bunch of little ones following along behind at least one adult.
