Where we are now was perfectly described by Bastiat 150 yrs ago:
" When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over a period of time they devise a legal code to authorize it & moral code to glorify it."

Someone should remind the CEOs that unions and negotiations were a compromise we agreed to as an alternative to breaking down the factory owner's front door, and hauling him out of bed to be hung in his courtyard. I feel like they've forgotten we can STILL do that!

Maybe if Monsieur Bastiat saw how the world functions today (or fails to do so) he would see the limits of his economic philosophy.
