Can anyone tell me why it is that if an employer other than the government didn't pay their workers they would be violating the law and the government doesn't have to abide by the same laws? I'd be wanting to start a class action suit against the government today!

Essentially government isn't subject to the same laws as the rest of us. What was designed to be our servant has now become our master.

Yes you are right, we need to do something about that.

Simply because the government makes the rules for themselves. But there is a great law suit that is under the 13th amendment that has alot of people interested how it will play out.im short
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Perhaps you have planted the seed.
