Could you create some other site as an alternative, ideally one where everyone's like me and doesn't believe in You?"

"Well," said God, "it's a tall order because Facebook is even more omnipresent than me these days and I'll have to be careful to make sure it's nothing like Facebook because Zuckerberg can afford better lawyers, but I'll see what I can do."

And lo! - it came to be.

(God was quite a regular here back in the early days, but He got fed up because none of His matches lived anywhere near Him so He shut down His account and went back to Grindr.)

Do you know I can't remember, I think that I was so excited to find social media that was not totally boring that it put everything else out of my mind. Or maybe it was just an age thing ?

Facebook, their algorithm must have identified me as the godless heathen I am....

The add just showed up on my Facebook feed, so I checked it out. Been here ever since. I love this place.

Like everyone else here, it was obviously a group collaborative effort between Jesus, God, Satan, and Facebook to bring us all here. It's usually a shit show when they conspire with each other but boy did they ever get this one right. Good job everyone, teamwork makes the dream work.

Facebook Feed - October 2017.

I was reading an atheist thing on facebook and the ad was also there so I thought I would check it out and I haven't left.

I'm a howling, atheistic HERETIC.

So I did some searches to find out what was out there. 'Atheist', 'agnostic', 'non-believer', 'non-delusional', etc.

Same for me ,saw a FB ad for it,figured why not, and have been here since May, 2018.

It came in a registered letter with a wax seal on it by chauffeured delivery. J/K it was advertised on Facebook.

I don't remember for sure but think my adult son recommended it to me. Maybe. He and all of my family have been bad mouthing religion for years but he was the first one to openly cross to the dark (atheist) side. The rest of us were already there as well but just hadn't used the "A" word so it was an easy transition. I have a number of friends that are also on this side but haven't said the "A" word so I am trying to get them used to hearing it.

Pop up ad somewhere made me check it out. Bored by dating sites so I checked it out.

It kept popping up on FB. I don't ever click on pop ups. So I went to the site & was hooked. It was only a few months old at the time. There are people from all over the world to be found here. Just as with our countries.

It works pretty well for a free site with no commercials. The people is what makes this great.
