My favorite sign is "Welcome To Earth", outside of Earth Texas, a little town on the TX/NM border.
My brother used to live on High Road. The street signs would disappear as fast as they put them up. They finally gave up and painted the name vertically on a telephone pole.

I've been there. It's actually pretty cool. There's a huge salt lick that animals have been using for thousands of years. They found mammoth bones along with all kinds of other bones from large animals. That's how it got it's name.
