So... I went to see this ballet performance of Shen Yun and in spite of the amazing performance and artistic talent, I was disappointed about the amount of religious overtones it had. At one point a singer performed a song which explicitly criticized atheists (they were translating the lyrics of the song). I was upset because they were open to the general public and sure took the money paid by this atheist in few tickets... never expected them to be so critical about atheists. Anyway.... at the end of the show there were people asking if we would come back next year and see the show... My reply: "Nope, not if ya'll are going to criticize atheists".
Thanks for the warning! Interesting how religion's taken hold in China again...just as it has in Russia. Could it POSSIBLY be that, like the bloated buffoon...their ''leaders'' realize it's a way to gain support of the sheep?
It just an act. Can't take everything so serious
They're part of Falun Gong, so a bit of athiest kicking is to be expected. They're the target of pretty constant religious persecution by the (athiest) Chinese Communist party.
Thank You... they will be coming to Las Vegas.
Well done. Guess I know which show I won't be going to see then.
