If Catholic Ireland can approve of abortion why can't we put this issue to bed finally and approve an amendment to guarantee women this choice. While we are at it how about an amendment to guarantee the LGBT community their rights. It is time for science to rise above and right the wrongs conveyed upon this community.

Freedom is everyone has the right to decide what is best with their body. Then you have in the constitution EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL! People use religions to force others to bend to their false ideaoligy that they were brain washed to think.

The religious community has put the brakes on any progress in expanding freedom and letting everyone live with equality.

The rights that go with gender should not be up for debate. It is time to stop wasting the time and effort of these people and let them get on with being creative. They have more to offer and should not spend their lives trying to correct how they were born or refusing to have a child that was not intended for what ever the reason. Population controls are needed now or soon we will not be able to support all the life on the planet.

Food, shelter, work, better living conditions and health care including birth control, along with improved education will reduce population better than controls, especially draconian laws like China tried. Of course, which is easier to implement and which would give more average people a say about their lives? Those in power will lean toward control when the world starts to implode; by then it may not matter as other elements start to kill off human kind.
