Which is precisely why a potentially United Africa scares the shit out of the rest of the world and why they keep it impoverished, disease ridden and at war with itself.
Multiple countries within a continent! Lol. Yes. I agree, it is pretty enlightening.
Thank You for the Perspective.... Not everyone will get it... And Whites see it as the Final Frontier for the Taken and to be Explored for its Riches. The Raping of a Continent. Where ameriKKKan Slavery got its Manpower? You divide them and you conquer. Imagine a United Africa without white scavengers footprint. What continent is more divided than Africa? Still the Mother Lode of the "Sport of Hunting" and the "Art of Looting". Some Geography Nazi will show up with a Ruler, a Measure Tape and a Map. Thanks.
Of course Africa is a continent and not a country.
Wow I cannot believe that no one realized that this is really an improper comparison, good job. Then again it does show how big it is by placing countries with which you are familiar.
The typical mercator map projection does not adequately portray the true size of Africa.
@OwlInASack. The Galls-Peters projection is truer north to south, but seems to compress east to west.
@OwlInASack Gas been a persistent challenge for cartographers forever.
And it is the dark continent. I flew over it at night. Once you leave the Mediterranean coast it is dark until you reach south africa. .
LOL of course it is. Unless you fly over a metropolitan area no one has enough lights to see from the sky. Actually I've never been there but I would not be surprised to find that a lot of large metropolitan areas don't have lights either. I mean look at North Korea at night.
@mooredolezal no cities if any subspace in the interior. Just totally dark.
@Bigwavedave how long is the flight? Must be8 hours at least.
