"Extreme left wing" = center left
"Left wing" = center right
"Moderate" = right wing
"Right wing" = extreme right
"Extreme right wing" = fascists
"Communist" = left wing
"Socialist" = anyone not a libertarian
"Libertarian" = asshole

I guess that would make social democrats communists, which of course is not true.

I think for Western Europeans, a Social Democrat in the US would be considered a moderate there, or probably just a normal human being.
