Sure signs of the impending return of Persephone. 2 Ladybugs on the inside of my window. Squirrels playing catch me, catch me. Downy woodpecker pair scoping possible nest sites. Trees are replete with tiny icicles, but they are melting. Indoor plants are sending out shoots. Won't be long now & I can start some seeds.

And yet, in all our current warmth, the weather prognosticators are calling for snow next week.
