Pelosi:
"The green dream, or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they're for it, right?"
Pelosi:
Nancy Pelosi's top aide privately told insurance executives not to worry about the democrats pushing "Medicare for All"
She rules the democratic agenda.
And you know this because.....?
Sorry I don't understand the question. I have listed references per previous response, and the Speaker of the House sets the agenda for Congress.
and your source for this? i see several sources for it, and they're all suspicious. mother jones, on the other hand, has a pretty level-headed take on it: [motherjones.com] but by all means, let's panic and diss pelosi because... because.... y'all will surely think of something....

Mother Jones recently changed hands, be careful with their viewpoints
Do you remember when Nancy came out with a statement that we will not have socialism!
No, but I can imagine her saying that proudly.
Ohferpetessake, I am so sick of uneducated people having a knee-jerk reaction to the word "socialism"
Educate yourself, PLEASE!
Healthcare: Wouldn’t an ‘everyone pays what they can afford’ healthcare system allow far more innovation? I watched numerous ‘junior entrepreneurs’ starting up businesses without the fear of lacking health care … only to have recently backed off ..grabbed a ‘do as you’re told/ follow the leader’ 40 hour a weeker because it looks like yet another generation of American’s will go without the freedom of reliable national healthcare …. As the industrial nations of the world continue to eat us alive ~
“ALL politicians” The party previously in total power has slowly setup the current campaign dynamics required to compete - not their only viable opposition -- who’d reverse Citizens United in a heartbeat if given the chance! I get so ..fuckin tired reading the ‘false equivalency’ drivel around here… Straighten up, boys - your negative narrative simply feeds the message our opposition has long used to kill our expectation of survival as Atheist/ Agnostics…
"Wouldn’t an ‘everyone pays what they can afford’ healthcare system allow far more innovation?"
I agree with Sanders' et al when they assert that Healthcare is a citizen's right. How can a citizen who get seriously injured, refuse ambulance assistance because they know they cannot afford the ride to the hospital here in the richest nation in the world. The workers, the citizens who pay taxes, fight wars, build and grow families have a right to the best healthcare, without fearing it's cost or affordability, because they know it is their right as citizens.
You would think every business owner in the USA would want to get out of having to be in the health insurance providing business...each year we spend time and money searching for affordable plans for our employees...we could use the costs of this to give better wages and other benefits...people don't want to work for you unless you provide health care so we are being held hostage to get the best people as well...time to write some scathing letters to the party...health care and drug costs are killing the economy...
Insurance companies want employees to fear losing their health policies, and employees go along with this (just read they plan to increase deductibles) facade . Politicians like Pelosi don't want to disenfranchise insurance or other health related companies, these companies provide too much Party Money, and in my opinion she is all about the money.
@Sticks48 Yes, I think we must solve Corporate Free Speech. As we have seen the Court thinks associations of people share many of the same rights as citizens...the way to fix this, I think, is to force them to become socially responsible as part of their structure. Note E. Warren's and now Shumer/Sander's proposals. [Schumer, D-N.Y., and Sanders, I-Vt., have proposed a measure to stop corporations from repurchasing shares until they first invest in workers and communities through better pay and benefits. In a New York Times column published Sunday, the lawmakers argued the plan would help to boost wages and reduce income inequality]
I sure hope she realizes she needs to embrace the new Congress and it's progressive agenda and stop doing the status quo thing......
