I think fragile egos in general are threatened by intelligence, regardless of the gender distribution. Would be interesting to read the full studies.

@OwlInASack But not all smart women are big aggressors. I think sometimes people misinterpret out-going or friendliness in a wrong way. Or the misunderstand confidence. This is true for both sexes.
