My understanding it that Kant intended that the rights of women are equal to the rights of men, which was not the case then, or even now.

Marriage, a contract to allow a vehicle for the magical feelings of love that will hold the relationship together when the cold winds of real life start battering down love's defenses. I think it was a great idea, especially for the children.

Bank accounts, property, benefits an expectation of gifts, rewards as well as the being the sole recipient of sexual activity. Just saying that if it were just about sex people wouldn’t get married
