Are those "gun-related incidents" in America any more of an emergency than the 250,000 deaths due to medical mistakes or the 40,000 deaths due to drug overdoses or the 33,000 deaths due to auto accidents each year?
Was going to ask the same question.
It seems it's safer to own a gun than it is to drive a car, have surgery, smoke. and many other things.
@TristanNuvo You have to understand that there are people (mostly women...but will likely catch hell for stating such), scream in fear and jump on a chair when they see a mouse in their house. I think that both (guns in the U.S. and mice caused harm), given the numbers are "irrational fears".
