Today I found that I had 5 long emails from an older member who lives in "the rust belt". I had not seen them previously which started on V-Day. He provided me with his phone number and demanded I call him.
After not responding to the first two messages he belittled me for living in a Red State and told me I would "never find a man here". Finally he told me that I didn't have any information on my profile that would interest a potential mate and that I needed to "put more on it".
Naturally I blocked and reported him. Just a FYI ladies not all men on here are sane. Good luck to all in your quest for love.

Having read through all of these and also having been subjected to this special kind of delusional crazy....I feel it's time to have @Admin and @SiteSupport step in an at least WARN this guy if not suspend him.
His harassment of women is definitely a pattern and it will only continue and, perhaps, escalate.

That he outed himself in Senate may impact his longevity. One hopes.

Saw the username. Can confirm @SkotlandSkye's account (of having privately reported this guy, quite a while ago). I personally saw this user's posted porn to a group, on several occasions (and reported them of course). I observed elsewhere some curious short-tempered verbal badgering of another user--over basically nothing. And now this. The overall picture is a worrying one, and I am perfectly fine with "publicly outing", via username, the user in question here: the behavior goes beyond the pale in terms of creepy, stalkerish, borderline abusive, and sexually inappropriate, he's been reported (presumably many times), and he's still around being massively problematic. Until/unless this user is removed by the site, "duty to warn" is, IMO, in full effect.

@Marcel3405 Yes, very odd to discover about it, but makes sense that it exists. With all the draconian laws in regard to sex (prostitution, etc) it's a wonder this is not a bigger issue.
@godef I doubt a change in laws would make a difference. Think about it, someone who wants a relationship but cannot establish a healthy one and has anger at others because of their own inabilities, that's psychological issues. Legalized prostitution wouldn't fix psychological issues.
@Dougl35534 I wasn't debating prostitution laws in particular, just attempting to add some clarity to the point I was making. That said, a lot of folks out there are always on the edge for some reason, healthy or otherwise, and many of the unnecessary and antiquated laws are not helping the situation. The so called war on drugs for example; we make it a crime to become addicted to drugs instead of answering to those very same psychological issues you allude to that lead to those addictions to begin with. Psychological issues should not be addressed with pithy laws.
@Dougl35534 You assume that those losers WANT relationship. All I ever wanted was sex...and legalized prostitution would have likely kept me from two bad marriages.
It's like that with most every dating site I found. Nut cases. I don't know why people waste time doing this.

That applies to women as well. It would seem that gender is no good indicator of quality or morality.
In my opinion the best way to handle these types of issues is to post the messages for all to read.

There are some very sad twisted people out there.Whenever there is a mass shooting in the US the perpetrator invariably has some personality defect, is an introverted loner,has been indoctrinated by some weird ideology or something similar and yet they are given free access to firearms. Bizarre.

@dahermit or you could read the case law that holds that it's not absolute and there are exceptions, kinda like why you can't yell fire in a crowded theater, which I'm sure you think is ok because it's only the !st Amendment. I have never been the victim of unwanted attention on this site (or other sites), so I can only imagine how creepy or scary it is for women. I guess there will always be a portion of the population that is deranged, but hopefully they are a small minority and their damage can be limited. I wonder if the message in this link would help to change their views and behavior.
