At one time we celebrated the birth day of George Washington and later Abraham Lincoln on different dates. First the two presidents were combined and celebrated so there would be one holiday. Then they added the Rev. Martin Luther King, well lets just say the Republicans had a hissy fit with all the paid holidays, like Mitch McConnell has with the voting holiday, so they pulled a Republican magic trick out of their ass, and presto chango we have presidents day.

Since, I work most holiday and rarely have chance to celebrate any. I exclude the current person in the oval office from today. He is a inberisment to the country and our species.

I have never known anyone to celebrate on this day. Just a free day off work in my book. This isnt like memorial or Labor Day weekend where people want to gather with friends, bbq and get drunk?

I wonder if Trump is having his chefs down at Mar-a-Lago bake him a big chocolate cake?

I was hoping that President's Day would bring news that he was arrested.

Fox News is going ape over the McCabe interview last night. They had some guy on who went on and on for 10 minutes about how there was a conspiracy to undermine the president, how could they talk about the 25th Amendment, yada yada yada, stoking fear, paranoia, and anger once again, completely divorced from any facts of the matter.

No mention of how Trump was talking about the Russia investigation for weeks before firing Comey. No mention of how he wanted Rosenstein's memo to include the Russia investigation in his reason for firing Comey (which Rosenstein did not put in the final draft of the memo because he thought that would be an impeachable offense). No mention of admitting on NBC the Russia investigation is why he fired Comey. No mention of Trump inviting Russians into the White House directly after and bragging about firing Comey to get the Russia thing off his back. No mention of Trump saying North Korea's missile tests were a hoax because Putin told him so, so US intelligence had to be wrong.

If the 25th Amendment isn't to be discussed about Trump, what does he have to do? Kill a hooker on live tv and drag her into the Rose Garden to bury her? Fox News would then claim Democrats want to impeach Trump for gardening, like any normal person would do. Don't they like roses????
