Yes! I saw that earlier today! But, I never voted for trump...I have been following him since he was in his 20s, I have never held any respect for him! There was so much confusion going on at that time, people felt they couldn’t trust Clinton...so they voted for trump...but he was the evil one! And some people didn’t vote because they thought Clinton would get enough votes anyway. I ended up in the emergency room here at our hospital the next day after the election and the ER doctor was all out of sorts, because he had not voted, thinking Clinton had the votes! Lot of people did that!

Yes, a lot of people who didn't bother to vote hopefully learned something from debacle that resulted. No matter how lousy your options are there is always one that is worse and Trumpy is just embarrassingly horrible. I didn't check to see how Faux News spun the spanking Europe gave Pence, sometimes they don't even try and just don't report the fiasco of the day.

@Freedompath Yes it must have been hell for people to have to choose between those two. I wonder if there were not more independents to vote for?

@Freedompath, @EskieMom At least there are independent news that one can access but unfortunately not everyone does.

@Jolanta there were too many forces at play that at that time, that the general public did not know about! Like the convoluted information being fed to the public thru the medias, especially Facebook, sponsored by Russia and delivered by Cambridge Analytica and an Israeli Co, was somehow in involved. Our election was undermined, using algorithms to move people toward trump! Especially in states that he needed their vote. Plus, the NRA, was involved...we should know all...once Mueller finishes his investigation!

@Jolanta independents would just split the vote...they don’t have the support!

@Freedompath I guess it is the same like the US involves itself in other countries politics by trying to overthrow the elected people and put in a puppet of their own.

@Jolanta I have not heard about the US, using Facebook to work with algorithms to persuade people to vote a certain, without their knowledge! That was new.

@Freedompath Maybe but are you aware that the US has invaded more than 20 countries since the second world war. Countries that have never done anything to the US. Have you heard of Chile and Pinoche. Maybe Russia did use facebook but the US does way more damage than anybody else, and I am not blaming you.

@Freedompath Well if you keep on voting for the same two parties than you will get what you always had. Not really much difference between Democrats and Republicans. Both interested in working for big business and nobody else.

@Jolanta I am aware, but I try and stay current as I have never found it useful to keep dredging up the past, except to do research! The past want help solve current problems that are a big issue right now!

@Jolanta our system is not set up to please each INDIVIDUAL person! The way you put it too me, is like I have leverage that I do not have and no one person in this country has! You should be sending your information to our Congress, as the lowly person has no power...except their ONE vote!

@Freedompath Actually this is not the past, this is what is still happening. You heard of Venezuela or Iran that is on the agenda to be bombed and invaded. This is what is happening now and your vote is not the only thing you got.

@Freedompath Yes you are not bombing those places at the moment, however the US has waged an economic war against Venezuela for 18 years, and you can look up how they tried to overthrow Hugo Chavez there. When it comes to Iran the US is to blame what has happened there too. If they would not interfere in elections than they would not have this horrible religious mob in place.
