Yeah, sad commentary isn't it. I happen to like, love & enjoy women that are real people. Some will be strong, just as with men. Some will be supportive, just as with men (well, some of us). There will be a whole range of talents, personalities & approaches, because, surprise, surprise, we are all human!

I have a problem with some people in Hollywood's notion that in order to lift up women, men need to be torn down. If lifting one self up at the expense of others is not acceptable in the real world, then why should it be acceptable in the film industry? Especially in a film like this where the whole premise is based upon defeating evil and the individuals who perpetrate such crimes as facilitating their own gain at the cost of others well being?
If this is anything like the most recent work by the makers of the Star Wars films, I have no interest in giving my money to the people involved in it.

Some times when finite resources are unfairly distributed, redressing that balance means that the previously favoured group becomes less favoured. Is that what you mean by tearing men down?
@webbew1 You and I have very different ideas on what eloquent means. I lasted 5 minutes of that cherry picking tedium. If anyone is tearing men down it's the faceless blowhard in that video taking complex three dimensional characters and focusing on and projecting negative traits onto them.
I may or may not like/enjoy the film, tho I think I probably will. I'm not about to let entitled, butthurt "boys" influence my opinions!
