Did YOU contribute to Bernies campaign?
Yes I did, $27, first of many no doubt, and will volunteer to staff any local office, just like I did last time!
Bernie just reminds me of the typical dick head old neighbor that gripes about everything. I can't remember ever seeing an interview where he was nice or laughing.
I'm leaning toward a Harris/Booker or a Booker/Harris team to form. But that will take a while.
Laughing? About how young people ( you know, our future) are drowning in debt yet working 2-3 jobs? That most people are ONE illness or accident away from bankruptcy? That prices of everything have quadrupled, or more, while mink8imun popwage has stayed the same for Decades? That health issues are the biggest cause of bankruptcies in this country?
Actually, he has a wonderful sense of humor, but APPROPRIATELY, unlike Cheeto
@AnneWimsey I get what you are saying. I was born to parents that grew up during the depression. They saved EVERYTHING they could. They did well for themselves. Unfortunately... Kids these days see their parents buy everything on credit and double down on that idea. However, responsible kids these days don't always have the debt issues. My 2 nephews and niece are doing well. They don't spurge on stuff and max out their credit cards. One of the problems is that millenials want a lot handed to them. It kills me when I see someone in the grocery store on food stamps but they have the latest iPhone! Priorities... Priorities...
@RiverRick I do agree with that phone thing...mine cost $24.88 at Walmart, no contract, no fees, about $12/month for unlimited calls/text, does every single thing (automatically hooks up to my car, for example) that my brothers $600 plus fees Samsung does.....
@MissKathleen I have my router/home internet thru Xfinity, but the phone picks up on whatever service is available, automatically, and for free.
No and do not plan on it.
@Holiday how do you figure that? O to YouTube going back to the beginning of YouTube, shows him vehemently espousing the same principles, writing even more so.....
No, Amy Klobuchar's my girl .
@Bendog I like and held every point she stands on. Climate change and a balanced budget is top on her list, and she's tough enough to stand up to the orange guy. A moderate progressive and fiscal conservative.
@rogueflyer who, if you go to YouTube, is what Bernie has been saying for Decades!
@AnneWimsey Umm, I respectfully disagree AnneWimsey. I like Bernie also however he is further left than Amy and doesn't put the emphasis on the national debt. Amy has a more measured approach to social programs. She gives a fiscal test as to whether something is responsible or not. I am truly concerned about the 22 trillion national debt. We will be entering another recession before long and will be doing so with limited borrowing power to stimulate the economy because of our debt. US national debt per taxpayer equals $179,908.00.
