those colors are from the prism on a window in our kitchen. it is encouraging to see that the colors are gradually moving to my right as the days get longer.
actually hit some golf balls at our range yesterday as the temp got up to 8C. but down to -5 overnight.
according to the fcst we're still in for 2 more weeks of well below normal temps on van isle then we will switch to the other extreme.

LOL! hahaha
that reminds me that the new town council in our little town voted to spend $8500 for a "rainbow crosswalk". don't remember any of them mentioning that in their election platforms.
I have a bevy of crystal rainbow makers in my front window - I never thought of it as a political statement.... It is NOW! 
@callmedubious Yikes! Could think of a lot of other things that money could be spent on.
I have a friend has a very small pin hole in his garage wall. Every day at about the same time he marks and dates the floor where the light strikes. He has a graph of the movement of the sun in relation to the earth on his garage floor.
